About us

We build the layer your business actually runs on.

TAO is a small team building one place to run the work that lives between your apps. Most businesses don’t need another tool — they need the dozen they already pay for to finally work together, with an assistant that drafts the next step and a human who approves it. That’s what we make, and who we are.

What we do

TAO connects the apps you already run — Gmail or Outlook, your calendar, contacts, accounting, your CRM — into one workspace, and puts an assistant called Andy on top. Andy reads the whole picture and drafts the next step: a reply in your voice, the follow-up nobody sent, the invoice nudge that was overdue. You approve before anything leaves your accounts. There is no new system to migrate to — TAO sits on top of what you already use.

Why we built it

The expensive part of a small business was never the software. It is the work that slips between the software — the quote stuck in drafts, the email you meant to send on Tuesday, the customer who went quiet because everyone assumed someone else had it. No tool owned that gap, so it landed on the operators: late nights, dropped balls, a business that only ran because a few people held the whole thing in their heads. We built TAO to own that gap, so the business does not depend on memory and good intentions.

Who it’s for

People who already know their business and are tired of administration swallowing it. If you would rather pick the right software once than configure six things forever, you are who we build for.

  • Owners, ops leads, and small teams — roughly 3 to 50 people sharing customers in real time.
  • Operationally busy businesses: service firms, consultancies, agencies, rental and events operators.
  • Owners who want visibility into the work without reading every thread to get it.

How we work — two motions

TAO is a product and an implementation partner. The product is what we ship and keep improving. The implementation work is how we help a team shape it around the way they actually operate, when they want a hand rather than a login. Both feed the same shared record, so the help you get and the product you use are never two different things.

The right software is the software your team will actually open on a Monday morning.

What we believe

We do not pretend these are unique. We do hold ourselves to them.

  • Plain English over jargon. If a heading needs explaining, it is the wrong heading.
  • Andy drafts, a human approves. Nothing writes to your providers invisibly.
  • Your data is yours. We never train generalised models on it, and the brain is per-workspace.
  • Implementation help is a real offer, not an upsell — and beta access stays invite-only until it earns the trust.
